South Georgia Physicians
Association, L.L.C., (SGPA) is an independent physician
organization dedicated to quality and value in health care. SGPA
provides the independent physician or physician group with an
opportunity to maintain their independence and to secure their
current and future patients through an organization that is
solely governed by physicians. |

Physicians |
SGPA is an organization of over
200 physicians that was organized in 1997 to provide medical and
surgical care to citizens of South Georgia. |

Services |
SGPA provides a number of
services to aid physicians, such as, how to form IPAs, provides
critical information, builds networks, provides group
purchasing, extends managerial services, analyzes service area,
managed care contracting and self-insured agreements.

Managed Care |
SGPA has a number of managed care PPO contracts. Viewers
can select a county and a list of SGPA managed care contracts
available for that area will be provided. These pages also
include links to the respective websites of each network. |

The SGPA has secured the Guide to Medicaid
Managed Care for our physician members. The Guide is a
compilation of research and reference checks on the top ten CMO
bidders for both the Southeast and Southwest regions.

Membership |
SGPA has built a model that
physicians in rural communities can join through direct
membership, or when available, the purchase of stock. SGPA can
also provide administrative functions for those physicians'
organizations already in existence. |

completing an enrollment form and providing pertinent
information necessary for credentialing. |

Meet Our Staff |
SGPA is governed by a Board of
Directors, which represents the entire membership. The Director
and Communication Director maintain the daily operation of SGPA. |
